Daily Unique Postings Methodology
In the Job Postings Table report within Analyst, Developer, and Talent Analyst, you have the option to view the number of unique postings by latest day, latest 7 days, latest 30 days, latest 90 days, and latest 365 days.
- Latest Day Postings: The count of all active unique job postings for the most recent full calendar day. This is typically two days prior to the current day. This is most similar to a real-time snapshot of current jobs, such as would be posted on a career site or job board.
- Latest 7 Days Postings: This is the count of all active unique job postings within the most recent seven day period. It will be inclusive of the Latest Day Postings but include more postings that were also active on prior days. It will not double count postings that were active across all days. This is not an average of seven days’ worth of Latest Day Postings.
- Latest 30 Days Postings: This is the count of all active unique job postings within the most recent thirty-day period. It will be inclusive of the Latest Day and Latest 7 Day postings but include more postings that were also active on prior days. It will not double count postings that were active across all days. This value is mostly similar to the Monthly Active Postings.
- Latest 90 Days Postings: This is the count of all active unique job postings within the most recent ninety-day period. It will be inclusive of the Latest Day, Latest 7 Days, and Latest 30 Days postings, but will include more postings that were also active on prior days. It will not double count postings that were active across all days.
- Latest 365 Days Postings: This is the count of all active unique postings within the most recent 365-day period. It will be inclusive of the Latest Day, Latest 7 Days, Latest 30 Days, and Latest 90 Days postings, but will include more postings that were also active on prior days. It will not double count postings that were active across all days.
The above values will not be similar as they are counting the number of active unique postings that were active within the time period. By nature, the shorter the time period, the fewer active postings will be included.
The diagram below shows the nature of some of the above values and how they are calculated.

Please note that Latest 90 Day Postings and Latest 365 Day Postings are calculated similarly, though they are not included in the above diagram.
