Deduplication of Job Postings

Deduplication refers to the process of identifying and accounting for job postings that advertise for the same vacancy. Because Emsi scrapes job postings from over 100,000 websites, the likelihood of scraping the same posting twice is extremely high. Deduplication takes this into account, yielding a more accurate count of unique job postings.
